Service Plumber
You're the one in the truck running the calls — sizing up the problem, fixing it right, and leaving the homeowner glad they called Shaw. Most days are residential service and repair: water heaters, leaks, drains, fixtures, repipes. You own the job from the first knock to the final cleanup.
What we look for:
- Hands-on residential plumbing experience
- A clean driving record and reliable attendance
- You treat a customer's home like your own
Apprentice / Helper
Brand new to the trade or a couple years in — this is where you actually learn it, riding along with plumbers who've done this for decades. You'll haul, dig, hand up tools, and start doing more yourself every week. Stick with it and there's a license at the end of the road.
What we look for:
- A strong work ethic and a real willingness to learn
- You show up on time, every time, ready to work
- No experience required — bring the right attitude
Admin / Office
The whole shop runs on whoever's answering the phone. You're the first voice a customer hears — booking the call, keeping the schedule tight, and making sure every plumber knows where they're headed next. Steady hands on a busy phone, organized, and genuinely good with people.
What we look for:
- Phone and scheduling experience (a trades office is a plus)
- Organized, and calm when the phone won't stop
- Friendly and professional with every customer
Emergency Plumber
Pipes don't break on a schedule. When an urgent call comes in — a burst line, a flooding water heater, a sewage backup — you're the one who rolls out and makes it right. Higher stakes, and customers who never forget the plumber who showed up when they needed one.
What we look for:
- Solid diagnostic and repair experience
- Cool under pressure and comfortable working solo
- Dependable on an after-hours on-call rotation
